Невроло́гія — наука, яка вивчає нервову систему, розробляє теорію і практику лікування неврологічних хворих. Невропатологи лікують неврологічних хворих консервативно, в той час як нейрохірурги здійснюють оперативне лікування травматичних, пухлинних, судинних та ін. ушкодження головного та спинного мозку, нервових сплетінь і стовбурів, а також периферичних нервів.

Neurology is the branch of medicine concerned with the study and treatment of disorders of the nervous system. The nervous system is a complex, sophisticated system that regulates and coordinates body activities. It has two major divisions:

*Central nervous system: the brain and spinal cord
*Peripheral nervous system: all other neural elements, such as eyes, ears, skin, and other "sensory receptors"

Physician burnout affects at least fifty percent of US practitioners. Neurology is one of several medical specialties that has both the highest rates of burnout and the lowest rates of work-life balance. The Live Well, Lead Well programs are designed to empower neurologists to cultivate well-being and resilience in their lives, increase engagement at work, and develop strong, lasting leadership skills in an effort to reduce and prevent burnout and improve well-being. Attendees will share the skills and strategies that they learn over the course of the program with their colleagues, creating an ongoing positive effect in their practice communities.
